Amy Willerton named ambassador for The National Autistic Society

27 03 2017

The Jump 2017 contestant Amy Willerton has been announced as an ambassador for The National Autistic Society.

Willerton chose to support the charity because of her personal experience of autism, as her brother has been diagnosed with the condition, and commented 'My brother Ross and I are very close, he’s only two years younger than me, and even as a child I was aware that some people weren’t able to accept him, and made comments that were really upsetting.... I hope my support for the National Autistic Society will help to bring in vital funds for the charity, but also help the public to understand that autistic people are just different, not less'.
